Meet the Staff of Trinity Presbyterian Church
The Rev. Brad Martin, Pastor
Brad Martin, originally from western Pennsylvania, came to the New Castle Presbytery in 1984 after graduating from Princeton Seminary. He has been Trinity’s pastor since 1991, enjoying all aspects of ministry from the summer work camp to Appalachia with youth to preaching and teaching to working with Trinity's teams, whether at Emmanuel Dining Room or participating in the annual Disaster Mission trip. Brad is also the long-time Chaplain of the Wilmington Fire Department. Brad was recognized as the Firefighter of the Year in 2013 by the Kiwanis Club of Wilmington.
The Rev. Barbara Price-Martin, Parish Associate Co-Pastor
Barbara Price-Martin provides leadership in education, programming, music, and worship. In addition, she is a pastoral counselor in private practice at New Hope Pastoral Counseling.
Kim Robbins, Associate for Programming
Kim Robbins moved to north Wilmington from the Philadelphia area with her family in 1963. They became members of Trinity Presbyterian Church in 1964. After graduating from the University of Delaware, Kim taught special education students in the Brandywine School District until she retired in January of 2003. Kim was hired as Director of Ministry Development at Trinity in February of 2003. She continued in the position of Director of Ministry Development until December 31, 2018. In January of 2019, Kim became Associate for Programming at Trinity. Kim coordinates the annual Bazaar and many special programs at Trinity.
Penny Lindell, Christian Educator
Penny Lindell has been serving on Trinity's staff as Christian Educator since 1995. Her responsibilities focus on youth programming, the Middle School Confirmation process, Cross+Generational education and Mission Possible Kids for children in first through fifth grade.
Alexis Ward, Director of Music Ministries
Alexis Ward is an accomplished pianist, organist, conductor, vocalist, composer, and native Delawarean. She received a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition/Music Theory with concentrations in voice and piano from the University of Delaware in 2010. In 2012 she received a Masters Degree in Music (Choral Conducting) from UD. She joined the Trinity staff in August 2019. She has experience directing church music ministries in both Delaware and Georgia over the past ten years.
Mindy Spor, Office Administrator
Mindy R. Spor joined Trinity's staff as Office Administrator in August 2017. Prior to joining Trinity's staff Mindy worked in the non-profit sector in North Wilmington. Mindy is a native Delawarean who attended Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Philadelphia. Mindy and her husband Chris have two adult daughters, Emily and Abigail and two senior dogs, Sulley and Ginger.
Suzanne LeComte, Children's Church Coordinator
Suzanne LeComte graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in English and Secondary Education and from West Chester University with an Elementary Education Degree. Suzanne taught in New Jersey and Delaware. She happily retired in 2016, to take care of her grandson in Philadelphia. For the past several years, Suzanne has been coordinating Children’s Church.
Mary McDowell, Associate in Ministry
Mary McDowell spent 14 years as Trinity’s Office Administrator, retiring in 2014. She joined Trinity in 1983, has served as a Deacon and Elder, and was Co-Coordinator of Children’s Church. For a number of years, Mary has been in charge of Trinity’s Bear Ministry, which is evident by the teddy bears that can be seen in the pews. Her latest ministry has been welcoming members and visitors to Trinity at the main door on Sunday mornings.
Chris Dean Theibault, Associate for Youth
Chris Dean Theibault grew up in Wilmington and attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church for much of his life where he was active in the handbell choir and youth group. Chris moved to Exton, PA, where he met his wife, Jenna. Chris and Jenna were married in September 2008 and have made Trinity their church home. Chris currently works from home as a Cloud Systems Administrator. In 2011, Chris and Jenna welcomed their son, Oliver, and in 2012, they transitioned into their current ministries. Their daughter, Ellowyn, was born in 2016. The family is very active outdoors and enjoys hiking and camping.
Jenna Theibault Dean, Associate for Young Moms Ministry
Jenna Theibault Dean moved to Delaware in September of 2008 from West Chester University, where she obtained her master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Jenna currently works as a drug and alcohol counselor at Brandywine Counseling. She is married to Chris Dean-Theibault and together they found Trinity as their church home. Shortly after becoming members at Trinity, Jenna and Chris received a calling to become involved with young adult missions. In 2011, their son, Oliver, was born, and in 2012, they transitioned into their current ministries. Their daugher, Ellowyn, was born in 2016. The family is very active outdoors and enjoys hiking and camping.
Lindsay O'Brien, Nursery Coordinator
Lindsay grew up in the Wilmington area and has been a member of Trinity since birth. She is the third generation in her family to call Trinity their church home. Lindsay graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She and her husband, Shawn, were married at Trinity in December of 2009. Their son, Daniel, was baptized at Trinity in May of 2011. Lindsay has been the Nursery Coordinator since September of 2011. Lindsay works at Sallie Mae as an HR representative.
Christy Wyatt, Associate for Arts/Drama/Youth
Christy is a graduate of the University of Delaware. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Exceptional Children and Youth with a concentration in Autism and Severe Disabilities. Christy teaches 1st grade at Pleasantville Elementary School in the Colonial School District. She also works in the community with theatrical productions featuring transitional aged students with severe disabilities, as well as their teachers, paraprofessionals, and peer mentors. Christy is thrilled to lead the Youth Choir and help direct the Arts and Drama Ministries at Trinity.
Katie Oliver, ASP Coordinator
Katie Oliver joined Trinity as a child when her family moved to Wilmington in 1991. As an adult, she serves on Session, is a member of the Mission Serve Team and Bible By Heart Team, as well as working in the Nursery. She has served with the Appalachia Service Project (ASP) for 15 years, and she now coordinates the trip for Trinity. Katie is a middle school French and Spanish teacher in Pennsylvania. She lives in Bellefonte with her husband, Nick and son, Wade.
Amy Vitsorek, Church School Coordinator and VBS Director
Amy Vitsorek has been a member at Trinity since 2016. Amy has been directing the Vacation Bible School at Trinity for several years and in June 2019 she expanded her responsibilities by accepting the position of Church School Coordinator. Amy and her husband, John have three children, Travis, Maggie, and Will who are all active in many programs and ministries at Trinity. Amy also teaches music and movement, musical theatre, and yoga through her business, Jitterbugs Music & Movement. She teaches at local libraries, preschools, and nursing homes.
